Soaring to new heights in both Counter-Strike and Rocket League
Last weekend defined ROUNDS’ upwards trajectory on a multitude of levels.

ROUNDS succeeded, beyond the expectations of many, on two fronts last weekend. These results embody the progress the organization has made in 2026 already, going multiple steps ahead of previous results. Let’s break it down.
In ROUNDS’ most prominent game of Counter-Strike 2, the main team managed to snag a spot at the ESEA Season Finals for the currently ongoing Season 56. This comes on top of the already positive feat of securing promotion to ESEA Advanced for the next season, which ROUNDS managed to confirm the week before.
ROUNDS defeated foes TEAM_COPH9K in the final Lower Bracket round with a 2-1 scoreline, taking home the first and third maps of Mirage and Inferno respectively. Something didn’t click for ROUNDS’ own map pick of Nuke, as TEAM_COPH9K were able to win it, in quite convincing fashion as well. Nevertheless, all that matters is the final Bo3 result, and this meant that the last qualification spot to the Season Finals belonged to us. You can see ROUNDS CS2 in ESEA action again today, facing the swedes from Intermediate, Tincan, in Round 3 of the ESEA Season 56: European Finals. More info below.
On the Rocket League side of things the only way is upwards as well. Renshiro, Marssyy and Onizumaa have already found success on Ren’s Cape Town trip, having made their first Top 8 in RLCS SSA, ultimately placing 7th in Open 4. Hello, Bromeo.
The lads beat former réunionnais teammate Wiiilooo’s squad Rising Esports (formerly Str1ve Esports) in the final qualification game of the GSL stage to book their spot on the main stream for the first time. In there, we lost to the Pioneers 4-1, but even taking a game off of them is huge progress for our young guns. We can’t wait to see what Open 5 holds for us! Come watch on twitch.tv/roundsgg on Sunday, March 29th at 17:00 EET/SAST (19:00 RET).
ROUNDS CS2 plays twice today; first versus Phantom Academy in Exort Series #24 at 15:30 EET, and then versus Tincan in the ESEA Season 56: European Finals. Keep an eye on our Twitter and join the Discord for up-to-date information!
