We’re simplifying the way you keep in touch with everything ROUNDS-related by publishing a weekly update on Mondays.

Good Monday folks, from the newsdesk, this is your editor-in-chief speaking. On behalf of the entire crew, I would like to welcome you aboard ROUNDS This Week with non-stop service right into Week 41 of the current calendar year 2026. We are just finishing up our introductory chapter and expect to get into the weekly hot topics for the very first time in about four sentences. The plan is to use this format as a platform of keeping you up to date on the latest results and news, as well as the upcoming matches and events for the week in one compact and useful package. The weather in Tampere, FI today is looking cloudy, at 14 degrees celcius with a severe wind warning for land areas. We hope you enjoy your stay with us, and would love to see you again same time next week. Counter-Strike rosters, prepare for takeoff.

Last Week’s Recap

Last week we played three times, two of the matches belonging to the main roster, and one to the youngsters of ROUNDS Future. We unfortunately got knocked out of CCT Challengers in a rough matchup where Puteli stood in for Lapa. Huge thanks go to him for that nonetheless. However, Future continued their winning ways and went 2W-0L in the regular season of NUKE-Liiga, and our EPL opener turned out successful on Sunday.

Wed 30:
CCT Europe 2026 Challengers #7: ROUNDS 0-2 Phantom Academy
NUKE-Liiga Season 3: ROUNDS Future 13-7 Heimo Ateljé

Sun 4:
European Pro League – Regular Season 7: ROUNDS 2-1 SökerOrg

The Week Ahead

This week ROUNDS Future faces a big challenge as it’s a double matchweek for the currently undefeated squad. Our main roster continues forward in our EPL Group B with a Bo3 against MOUZ NXT on Thursday.

“MITEN RAKENNETAAN LANIT TYHJÄSTÄ? | Game Över x Assembly Lanit”

We released a Finnish-language vlog about the Game Över x Assembly LAN party that was hosted in the city of Lahti last year. Tane and Absi take you along on their trip to show you how such an event can be handcrafted using our services. You can watch it from our YouTube channel here: youtu.be/z9BPDBHsR3U

Quick Hits

Honouring UNEVN after bankruptcy

Last week we received the super unfortunate news that the District Court of Western Uusimaa declared the Espoo-based furniture company Unevn Oy bankrupt on Wednesday, September 23. Our long-time desk partner UNEVN developed modular and portable gaming desks marketed specifically to the esports audience, but also for use in hotels, training sessions, and events. Therefore new desks can no longer be bought from them, but ROUNDS retains all of our current lineup of desks ready for deployment. If you have an occasion, such as a LAN party, that could benefit from desks that house a gaming PC and monitor inside, feel free to shoot us a message through the contact form.

VALORANT FINLAND back in business

VALORANT FINLAND conducted its second community tournament since the ROUNDS takeover. “VALORANT FINLAND x ZEN ENERGY Open 2” gathered the best 5-stacks of the Finnish scene together once again, and in the end Sotakoirat took home the victory on Sunday, September 27. VALORANT Finland plans on holding more open events in the near future. If you want to be a part of the Finnish VALORANT community, you can join the Discord from this link.

Upcoming tournaments for the main team

ROUNDS’ main CS2 roster is attending a particular LAN event sometime soon, perhaps even this month? I sure do wonder where our journey might take us this time, hopefully some online CS2 LAN tracking websites know more about it? Or maybe you prefer to wait for the official announcements, any moment now…
