This week a TON of ROUNDS teams and staff head to Tampere for LanTrek, including for the Elisa BreakOut Series.

Where to even begin this week? ROUNDS is once again heading to the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre for LanTrek 2026, in big numbers. ROUNDS’ main CS2 team is debuting their new lineup (on LAN as well!), now with Olli “Tumppis” Nousiainen joining the four others full-time. ROUNDS Future is also getting their first LAN experience for the season, as they attend LanTrek’s CS2 BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) tournament. And Renshiro has gathered a final boss squad under the ROUNDS flag to take on the Rocket League side of things at the event as well. Care to join us?

Last Week’s Recap

(This section now includes clickable hyperlinks for the tournament pages. Thanks Dennan for pointing this improvement out over on our Twitter/X!)

Last week ROUNDS Future took home two more dubs in thrilling series and are now 4W-0L in NUKE-Liiga Season 3!

The main CS2 squad also managed to beat MOUZ NXT on Thursday, in quite convincing fashion as well. 2-0 the score there to advance to the EPL playoffs as the top seed of our group!

The Week Ahead

EPL, ESEA, and NUKE-Liiga on Tuesday. What a massive triple-header day for us! After that all the action is about the LanTrek 2026 gaming convention in Tampere, Finland. Here’s how to watch it all with Finnish commentary.

UPDATE:
Our ESEA opener that was supposed to be played on Tuesday Oct 13 at 21:30 EEST has been rescheduled for Friday Oct 30 at 20:00 EEST. You can see updated ESEA match schedules publicly from FACEIT.

The super CS2 matchday, Tuesday the 13th of October (tomorrow!):

First up is our EPL playoffs starter at 13:30 EEST. As of writing this article, we do not know our opponents just yet, but you can keep track using the tournament’s Liquipedia page. This match will be streamed to our Twitch and YouTube!

Later on in the evening at 20:00 EEST, the youngsters of ROUNDS Future take on Inceptor Horizon for the chance to go 5-0 in the NUKE-Liiga standings. You can follow the bracket from this link on Esplay, and watch the match live on NUKE-Liiga’s Twitch and YouTube channels.

After that Bo1 is done and dusted, we’ll all head back on over to our very own Twitch and YouTube streams, as they will boot back up to show you the ESEA League – Season 59 opener between ROUNDS and familiar Polish foe OLDBOYS with the knife round commencing at right around 21:30 EEST. UPDATE: This match has been rescheduled for Oct 30. Check above for details.

Every competition at LanTrek, including the Elisa BreakOut Series #2:

Rematch with HAVU? Yes please! Above you can see the schedule for our Group Stage matches in the Elisa BreakOut Series #2 tournament at LanTrek 2026. Come watch us step on that stage, or if you’re unable to attend, watch it all live from Elisa Esports’ live channels. Twitch for Finnish commentary, Kick for English commentary, or if you’re feeling rambunctious, even the Elisa Viihde Sport channel on good ol’ cable TV!

ROUNDS Future is attending the LANTREK X ESPLAY BYOC after having won the Road to LanTrek 5v5 online. The best ways to follow along are definitely going to be ROUNDS’ social media channels, such as Twitter/X and Instagram, but also most likely the LanTrek ones. Follow LanTrek on Twitter/X here, and on Instagram here. We will also try to manage filming a little vlog about the experience!

The 1100€ prize pool LanTrek Rocket League 2026 will also see ROUNDS colour in the bracket. The main event is played on Friday and Saturday this week, as Renshiro has taken his Finnish national colleagues Dansku and Tossis with him to attempt adding yet another RL trophy into our cabinet. Notable other ROUNDS-related attendees include FNSi in team “Manager IT – Profit League“, and Jarkuu in team “jäätävä suonari“. Such a get-together for the champions of Finland! Once again I suggest following ROUNDS on Twitter/X, Instagram, and TikTok for updates and more details.

Olli “Tumppis” Nousiainen joins ROUNDS CS2 full-time

The ROUNDS CS2 main roster is complete once again, now featuring Tumppis as more than just a stand-in. They will debut on LAN later this week at the HLTV event Elisa BreakOut Series #2.

“The team’s goal is to reach Finland’s top 1.”

“My name is Olli Nousiainen, I’m a 26-year-old from Lapland. I started practicing CS for the first time at 21. At that time, the first organization I played for was Roots Gaming. Then through a couple of mix-teams, I ended up in Heimo, and then moved to smuuttikusilkki in 2024. The following year “smuutti” disbanded and I took a little break from playing. Now that the legendary Panu (p12) stepped aside, Timo (Monoxx) asked me to substitute in for a few games, and then came the offer of whether I wanted to jump into the roster. Now that we’re starting full-time, it’s really awesome to get to work on this. ROUNDS has been a nemesis on the server for several years already by now, and I’ve always known they’re a good organization, so it’s cool to be involved and get to contribute my small piece to the team and the organization’s operations. Personally, my goal is to reach my own potential so there won’t be room for regrets later. Of course this depends on being able to work consistently, professionally, and strategically over the long term. The team’s goal is to reach Finland’s top 1.“

– Olli “Tumppis” Nousiainen, translated from Finnish

Perhaps the worst-kept secret in Counter-Strike 2 transfer history? Nevertheless, please welcome him in to the Green and Black with open arms! 💚

Mention of the Week

This week, I want to give a shoutout to ROUNDS alumni Alxx, who’s taken the NA collegiate Rocket League scene by storm with Indiana Tech Esports! Best of luck in your near-future endeavours across the pond, Alxx!
