Joel “Jelo” Lentonen to complete ROUNDS CS2 squad

Ex-JANO star Jelo will be joining the green and black to complete our roster once more.

We are pleased to announce the arrival of Joel “Jelo” Lentonen to complete our CS2 team just in time for the Elisa Open Suomi 11 qualifiers taking place this weekend. You can catch Jelo and ROUNDS in action on our Twitch channel starting at 5pm tomorrow, on Friday the 3rd of October 2025.

Of the offers received, when weighing all the options, ROUNDS immediately seemed like the most sensible option. I have been familiar with ROUNDS as an organization from the scene for a long time, and it has seemed professional and competent, so it is nice to get to know them better from the inside.

The 26-year old also thanked ROUNDS, mentioning that after the JANO project ended he knew he had hunger to be playing again, but wasn’t sure if any opportunities would arise. Furthermore he addressed the Finnish Counter-Strike scene’s lack of success lately, doubling down on how the desire to win and improve seems to be missing from it. He called himself an experienced, helpful and professional teammate, showcasing he’s willing to go the extra mile to bring ROUNDS up the ranks, where we belong.

After no success in the LanTrek eSM -qualifiers we will cheer Jelo on as he made it with his ex-JANO teammates. Our focus stays firmly on ESEA Main and doing our best to qualify for Elisa Open Suomi 11. For this Jelo will be of much help, that’s for certain. Welcome in, Joel! 💚
